PREDANNACK TO THE LIZARD

A very nice little walk, passing Soapy Cove and Kynance Cove to finish at the most southerly point in mainland Britain.

For this walk, you need OS Landranger 203, Lands End.

Severity of walk

This walk takes you past the old workings at Soapy Cove; where soapstone was quarried and carved. At times a strange landscape, you can see plants not found anywhere else in Britain. Kynance Cove is renowned for its beauty and the serpentine found nearby.

Go through Mullion, keeping left towards Mullion Cove; you'll see the lane you want over on the left as you go down a shallow hill; watch out for the turning just before a left-hand bend.
