This section was one of my favourites. All along this coastline, the scenery is absolutely wonderful; and wherever you are, it's almost guaranteed that you can see Eddystone Lighthouse on the horizon. The places that you pass through seem to be from a wish list travel brochure: Polperro, Looe, Portwrinkle, Cawsand and Kingsand and my favourite, Talland Bay. Walk from the car park out to Pencarrow Head and admire the sweep round Lantic Bay ; Stare at the Gladstone Fort at Tregantle; be amazed at the multitude of chalets at Freathy; take a look at Plymouth and The Sound from Mount Edgecumbe and Cremyll: There is so much to see along here that you'll just keep coming back for more! |
