This part of the coastal footpath takes you from the golden sands, surf and bustle of Newquay in the north to the golden sands of Gwithian in the west. Along the way you can see the old mining areas around Cligga, St Agnes and Porthtowan; the old port of Portreath with its mineral tramway leading to Devoran on the Fal, and pass by the aptly-named Hells Mouth: Sheer cliff dropping down to the waves below.
