A strenuous walk along this scenic stretch of
The Lizard peninsula. Starting at the southernmost point in Britain, visit
the beautiful Church Cove, the tiny fishing village of Cadgwith with its
nearby collapsed sea-cave "The Devil's Frying Pan" then walk
past Kennack Sands; ever-popular with summer visitors.
For this walk, you need OS Landranger 204, Truro & Falmouth (to
get there)

From Helston, take the A3083 to The Lizard. Keep driving past the Satellite
Station at Goonhilly, past the crossroads further along the road, through
the series of bends until you see a road on your right just before Zoar
Garage.
Tturn right , then take the second turning to the right
(approx. ½ mile), then take the first left (¾ mile); this
turning is opposite the old chapel in Ponsongath. Follow along, until
you see an old, small, windmill on your left. There should be a small
parking area for the car.
Park the second car in the car park at Lizard Green, SX 703 126
So, drive back to the main road (the B3293). Turn left and back towards
Goonhilly, then turn left at the crossroads (could be signposted Ruan
Minor or even Cadgwith). You'll pass a small wood on your right, this
area is called Croft Pascoe, and is one of the few places to see Nightjars
in Cornwall. Take the first right and, if you ignore all other turnings,
you should end up on the main Lizard road, the A3083. Turn left and drive
to Lizard village, where you should see cars parked on the green.
