Pencarrow Head seen across Lantic Bay.
The beach on the left is popular with locals.
Walking towards Polruan....Our later
route can be clearly seen, leading to Gribbin Head with Black
Head near Mevagissey in the distance, on the far side of St Austell
Bay.

|
The path after Lantic Bay. The
gorse was stunning and the air was scented with a coconut fragrance:
Both John and I took photos....so I've included both. Gribbin
Head can be seen in the distance.

Me and my new hiking trousers

Readymoney Cove from the woods leading
to St Catherine's Castle |

The ferry from Polruan to Fowey
|
Coombe Haven looking towards Polruan.....

Who's last again? Looking down from
Gribbin Head towards Polridmouth. The coastpath skirted the seaward
side of the ploughed field.

|
.......and looking towards Pont
Pill: A lovely creek that is part of an attractive circular walk
that starts and ends at Bodinnick Ferry. When I've catalogued
all these walks, I'll start linking other walks like this.
Oh well, onwards.

Looking towards Polruan from Gribbin
Head

Looking down to Polkerris through the
trees. A very welcome sight!

|
Little Gribbin as we approached. The
view of St Austell Bay has disappeared in the enhancement of
this picture.

And Gribbin Head from Little Gribbin.

|

Looking back at Polkerris as we walk
away down the (main) street. |

And finally, the car park and blessed
relief. Now all I have to do is drive to Pencarrow Head to retrieve
John's car! |
